"Through out the five years that Namgyal Tsheden has been in Dr. Tobgyel School (2007-2011) she has proven herself to be an exemplary student of the highest caliber. Namgyal has performed excellently both in academics and in all co-curricular activities. The numerous certificates and awards she has collected over the years are a testimony to her performance.
As School Captain Namgyal was also responsible in coordinating and carrying out several community services such as cleaning programmes, advocacy programmes to do with proper garbage disposal, zero tolerance to plastics, H1N1 awareness, disaster management programmes etc.
Namgyal’s personality possesses a wonderful combination of compassion and strength. She has always been there to take the lead in collecting relief funds for the 2009’s earthquake victims of Eastern Bhutan, reaching condolence message to the Japanese Community etc."
I am also a student and i feel namgay has done an absolute and very perfect job during her stay at Dr. Tobgyel. i feel more students like her should be nominated for the golden youth award. and we the students can also get encouraged by her. thnks...
